The Sufi way is a path of love and purification of the heart. Allah says,
"Neither My heavens nor My earth contain Me, but the heart of My faithful believer contains Me.”
As Sufis, we believe that the human heart is a mirror of God and that in the innermost secret place in our heart the light of the Divine resides. By following ancient Sufi practices brought down to us through the line of the Prophets and guides, we seek to divest ourselves of all lowly qualities and to adorn our hearts with the beautiful qualities of the Divine. In this way can we learn to know ourselves and our Lord. |
